Meet Yappio: a welcoming support desk that lives right inside your Forovanta community. Visitors can introduce themselves, ask a question and reach your team without leaving the forum. Operators can answer from the web inbox or their connected Telegram bot.

Style the launcher to suit your community, choose which contact channels appear, add a friendly greeting and let your approved FAQ answers handle common questions before a visitor requests a person. Route conversations across your team, keep private staff notes and transfer a chat when another operator is better placed to help.

Keep the conversation useful after it ends with searchable history, downloadable transcripts, visitor ratings and administrator reports. Optional protected file sharing lets visitors and operators exchange supported documents and images inside their chat.

Yappio beta.21 is available for early-access evaluation. Live production acceptance is still pending; test installation, licensing and your support workflow on a staging copy before deploying to a customer-facing forum.

Requirements and boundaries

Forovanta starter 1.0.0-beta.157r or later; PHP 8.1+ and the forum's supported PDO/MySQL stack, mbstring, ctype, sodium and cURL. File sharing additionally needs PHP fileinfo and enabled uploads. Telegram requires HTTPS, a dedicated bot and the documented once-per-minute worker. A valid buyer licence and the forum's publisher-trust process apply. The port edition is not included.

WhatsApp opens the relevant application; this is not an embedded voice/video engine or guaranteed automatic call. SMS opens the visitor's messaging application; a paid SMS gateway and inbound SMS are not included. FAQ help uses approved keyword rules, not generative AI. Files are downloaded separately: text exports and ticket conversion do not contain binary attachments. Telegram relays text and file notices, not binary files. No typing/read receipts, voice notes or external-site embedding are advertised.
